We sat down with Sundarraman Ramalingam, India Manager, Niantic Inc. who helped us understand more about Safari and the future of Pokemon GO in India. When asked about the event and what can players expect from the event, he answered.

The center for the event is going to be Phoenix Palladium Mall, Lower Parel, where the players will have an opportunity to catch Pikachu in a Sari. However, the entirety of Mumbai and Navi Mumbai area will be activated for the event. There will also be the presence of international Pokemon GO creators at the event.
