LG India expands free, ad-supported streaming service to more than 100 channels

LG India has announced that they will be expanding their free ad-supported TV streaming service called LG Channels to more than 100 channels. This means that LG Smart TV users will be able to access a range of content without needing to pay a subscription fee or set top box. 

The channels also have content available in multiple Indian languages including Hindi, English, Punjabi, Bhojpuri, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Gujarati and Bengali.

“We will continue expanding LG Channels to bring even more personalized content to our customers,” said Hong Ju Jeon, MD- LG Electronics India while making the announcement. 

In December last year, LG launched LG Radio+, an ad-supported audio streaming service which is also available on LG smart TVs running webOS 6.0 and higher.
